Paradise lost and found - How could we have forgotten this lovely place for 13 years? Lovely to return with our son, all grown up and married now with his wife, who loved it too.  So ... love all around! Bracken Lodges is cared for, so considerable of guests comfort and I love that there is no bling, no hot tubs - just green hills, birds, red squirrels.  The new verandah is a joy.  We recommend 9 holes of golf at Killin and Strathtay: Falls of Acharn, Birks of Aberfeldy and Ben Lawers for moderate hikes: The Paperboat Cafe for good food and real coffee (Kenmore): E-bike tours up to the Black Rock and around Taymouth Castle (Kenmore).  Average temperature this week has been 22c, the sun shone throughout. As I said - Paradise".

"Time has gone so fast again this week.  Another fabulous stay here at Bracken Lodges.  thanks so much Fiona & Patrick for all that you do to keep this place so special.  See you next year!"

Our second visit. Wonderful! See you next year.  And thank you for sharing such a magical place."

"It just feels like coming home!"

" What a find!  We've had a brilliant holiday staying in this exceptional lodge. Everything is to a very high standard and all the little thoughtful touches make this one of the best places we've stayed in. We'll miss the ever changing view from the windows and seeing all the wildlife - woodpeckers, hare, buzzards, roe deer and red squirrels all in close proximity to the lodge. We've visited Glencoe, Glen Etive and would also recommend Castle Menzies, Doune Castle and the beautiful drive through Glen Lyon. The Falls of Acharn and the Crannog Centre are also well worth a visit. Thank you so much, we hope to be back - (actually - we don't really want to leave!)

"Our first visit to the lodges and what a spectacular setting. It was a real joy to relax for a week overlooking the loch and observe all the wildlife and changes in the landscape - and there were many, due to the mixed weather. Our lodge was just perfect and thanks for such a high standard of care. Hope to return in the future."

"We've stayed in several lodges before and also another lodge on Loch Tay. This lodge has so many thoughtful touches and it and the setting make it one of the best experiences we've had in a lodge. The weather was overcast and dull for the majority but it did not detract from our stay. If you are looking for a chilled, relaxing holiday you've found it. The owners have also been super.

"Far exceeded our expectations! Lodge, scenery and wildlife stunning. A little piece of heaven! Spent most of our week sitting on the balcony watching birds, deer, sheep, pine martens, red squirrels and hedgehogs. Can't believe we found this little treasure on the internet... we will be back!"

"We have loved staying at Bracken Lodges. It has been our first visit to Scotland and what a fantastic week we have had. Love Kenmore, visited Oban and Queens View at Pitlochry - but nothing could compare with Loch Tay!. The lodge was beautiful, immaculate, comfortable and had breathtaking views. Thank you, we hope to return!"

"Lovely lodge, excellent views, everything you need, little extras lovely touch! Great base to explore from, had a great week, thank you."

"We have just had the most wonderful stay in these beautiful lodges. They were immaculately presented and the personal touches were a delight. The views from the lodges really are breathtaking and we really don't want to leave. It is just so relaxing and peaceful. Thank you."

"Thank goodness I found this website! Lovely relaxing holiday in luxurious surrounding. The lodges are well spaced and all have stunning views over Loch Tay. Hopefully we will be back soon."

"Been to quite a few lodges around Scotland and by far these are the best! Had a lovely relaxing break here with everything we needed. The views are amazing. Thank you."

"Simply superb retreat! Beautiful setting, accommodation of highest standard and obviously built and looked after with great care and attention to detail. Wildlife amazing - red squirrels, buzzards and red deer. Lovely relaxing time yet again and we will be back for sure, many thanks."

"What a beautiful place, the views are magnificent - breathtaking!  The lodge is more beautiful than we imagined with all the comforts of home - in fact it felt like coming home.  We have had a blissful week".

"This was our first time to Scotland and we were both amazed by the fantastic scenery, especially here in the heart of the Highlands - we could not have chosen anywhere better to stay.  Bracken Lodges will always be a place to remember. Excellent facilities and our hosts were delightful and helpful in every way - thank you! I am sure we will be back again."

"I'm so glad that I cam across Bracken Lodges website - we couldn't have wished for a more perfect location.  The lodge is very well appointed and comfortable and the owners have done a wonderful job of creating a relaxing holiday location, yet have still retained the natural unspoilt beauty of the Scottish countryside.  We've enjoyed lovely walks and Ben Lawers was a challenge!"

"Superb accommodation with magical views over Loch Tay - we loved the underfloor heating, Thank you."

"Thank you for a perfect week.  Exactly what was needed.  Have become addicted to gazing at beautiful ever-changing views.  Lovely walks and drives, but favourite thing has been walking down to the loch shore from here - Wonderful".

"Had a wonderful week, even if it did rain. Excellent - the best we've stayed in 7 years. Lodge lovely and clean. Everything looks brand new - loved the area, now have to go back home to a very flat Befordshire - what a shame!"

"A very enjoyable holiday. Impeccable lodge, everything you could possibly need very clean and comfortable. Outside we beautiful also. Great place and lovely and quiet."

"Immaculate lodges - the best we have stayed in! Lovely to see red squirrels in this beautiful location."

"Can't tell you how much we will miss this view - and the wildlife, wild flowers, call of the cuckoo and the tame pheasant. Have seen red squirrels, roe deer and a hare in the grounds. Loved Highland Safaris, the Crannog Centre(5*), Castle Menzies and The Fortingall Yew Tree. Killin is a great little place too and the nicest people too. This has been a lovely, warm and comfortable stay, we will definitely be back!"

"Have had a wonderful stay. The lodge has been so comfortable and homely, yet so well equipped. The views have amazing, a different sky and sunset each night. Have enjoyed trips to Aberfeldy, Ben Cruachan, Highland Safaris and Castle Menzies. Looking forward to coming back next year."

"We have had the most wonderful, relaxing stay in the most immaculate lodge we have every stayed in. We had a very friendly pheasant who visited the wonderful balcony every morning. Lovely lunch at the Waterfront Restaurant in Kenmore and Highland Safaris at Dull, lots of nice places to visit. Beautiful walks in the area include The Falls of Acharn, The Birks of Aberfeldy and Drummond Hill. Thank you for a relaxing holiday."
